The Ensemble of Early Music COLLEGIUM VOCALE was founded in Bydgoszcz in 1992. Its repertoire includes polyphonic mass settings, motets, religious songs, madrigals and secular songs by European 13th to 17th century composers. The ensemble has participated in early music festivals of Poland (Kraków, Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Toruń, Zielona Góra, Brzeg Dolny, Lublin, Słupsk, Kraków, Bytom, Katowice, Sandomierz, Bydgoszcz), as well as abroad in Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Belarus. Collegium Vocale cooperates with lutenists Magdalena Tomsińska and Henryk Kasperczak, and with the ensembles Capella Bydgostiensis, The Pomeranian String Quartet, Trombastic and Ars Nova. The ensemble has made numerous recordings both for Polish Radio and Polish Television.
